Tom Wylie - Wylecat - Tom is an innovative designer of fast seaworthy boats that are easy to manage. Ted Van Dusen worked with Tom to design a freestanding catboat rig, including a carbon-fiber mast that is designed to bend, allowing the top of the sail to "depower" as the wind increases. CEI has built just about all of the freestanding masts for Wyliecat sailboats.
