THE VAN DUSEN KAYAKS
Van Dusen K1 Kayaks include a lightweight carbon-fiber monocoque hull and solid deck, a molded carbon-fiber seat, and an under-stern rudder.
The Mohican K1, an all-new design for 2006, is designed to the new USCA unlimited class specification and gives paddlers another option in marathon racing kayaks.
The Mohican has a self-bailing cockpit, like a surf ski, for self rescuing and safety in open water. The Van Dusen Mohawk K1 is designed to the ICF sprint kayak rules.
The competition models use carbon fiber, foam, and foam core laminates with high-performance, heat-cured epoxy.
Please inquire if you are interested in custom laminates. Prices effective 1 January 2010.
